Hawzah News Agency-on the eighth day of the international exhibition of the Holy Quran, the "Nahj al-Balagha book of life" meeting was held with the presence of Abdul Karim Taras, a commentator and translator of Nahj al-Balagha in Russian as well as Ahmed Nafis, an Egyptian writer and commentator. At the beginning, Abdul Karim Taras said,” Islam is a perfect religion and the Quran is the most perfect divine book. This book undoubtedly needs interpretation and explanation, so what book can provide the best explanation for the Quran?”
He added,” In my opinion, Nahj al-Balagha can be the best book for the interpretation of the Quran, except for the Quran itself, which is its own interpretation and explains the verses in many cases. Commentary on ideological, philosophical, moral and etc.”
Taras further mentioned,” During my trip to the UAE, I took the Nahj al-Balagha and translated it into Russian. In 2019, the first commentary of Nahj al-Balagha in Russian language was completed. Nahj al-Balagha has been published 59 times in Russian and is one of the best-selling Islamic-Shiite works in the Russian book market. In the translation, I tried to follow the rules of the Arabic language. I am also finishing the translation and interpretation of holy Quran into Russian, and I used Allamah Tabatabaei’s method in the interpretation.”
In the continuation of this meeting, Ahmad Nafis said,” I worked on the subject of Nahj al-Balagha and Imam Ali (PBUH) for ten years and authored several books, one of which is the book "Imam Ali, Commentator of the Quran" which was published. Nahj al-Balagha is the most important book about the position of man in the Quran. Whether a person is a believer or an unbeliever, he has all the human characteristics and Nahj al-Balagha has dealt with the category of man in the best way.”
